Animals in the show
http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/21/us/oldest-chimpanzee-in-captivity/index.html
The oldest chimp in captivity once skated in the Ice Capades… and she is in the news! Since The Fabulous Ice Age have includes a couple of quick clips of animals in the show, but I have not included this as an experience or as a concept to be debated as I am focusing on the pioneers who made the shows.
Since the story spans a century so many aspects of this history will be left out of the final.
However once the documentary is complete, I will put up edited interviews not used in the documentary and link them on the Fabulous Ice Age web site. Then, tales from skaters like Robin Cousins, whose story about animals in the show isn’t in my current edit, will become available for those who are interested.
